Is there any reason to believe MAGA won’t continue to press for further discrimination, and following that, active persecution, progressively intensifying, of trans people? Any reason not to believe that people in red states who violently attack trans people will face no consequences?
I see no reason. This descent into the demonization of trans people will stop only when enough people with enough power make it stop. Until then, institutions such as U of M will voluntarily surrender the power to distinguish between right and wrong to a gang of fascists. For now, U of M has covered itself in shame.

If pressured by the system doctors should sue based on religious belief that this is what god intended. Sure some men might crash into depression and suicidal ideation just like the teens about to be denied access to their healthcare. That’s a risk Republican Jesus believes is worth taking.
