“…whatever hopes Trump had that Christine would go along with his election schemes, they fell apart when Christine privately told the Atlanta office on Jan. 11 that he had not found evidence of mass fraud in Georgia’s election.”

So…another genius who thought they could ride the Trump Train to Fame and Fortune and instead ended up getting thrown aside?

Trump appeared to refer to Pak as a “Never Trumper” during his Jan. 2 call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger

“Appeared to”??

What? Was the recording garbled and it sounded like “Trever Numper?”

Christine? Hmm?

Does he perhaps drive a 58 Plymouth Fury?

Back where he came from: His previous Trump assignment in the Southern District of Georgia, based in Savannah.

Let’s just hope the Trump Stank sticks to him even after he slithers back to SDGA

Wherever US Attorney’s go when the administration shifts from one political party to another. (and yes I know that you know this) But really do they end up in that location between time and space where your lost sock that you could swear that you put as a pair in the dryer, but only one sock comes out?

The U.S. Attorney’s office in Atlanta is now being led by Kurt Erskine, the career prosecutor

and when I read this I heard in my head the announcer at the theater you’re attending to see a play makes the announcement that " so and so is now taking the place of actor x in playing character y).
Well it is a road production after all.

We can only hope. Also, that there might be a St. Bernard in the back seat.

That would be misery.

No thanks. His intentions were bad, even if he was unable to help Trump’s GA coup gambit. Biden’s DOJ will eventually kick him to the curb.

At a guess: Trump was not speaking in complete sentences, so it’s anyone’s call as to what the subject, predicate or verb might have been…

I’m not suggesting you’re wrong, but how do you know this?

He as the chief USA there, no? So, he’ll likely be replaced by Biden in short order, anyway.

Presumably, Christine knows the standard procedure for filling vacancies and yet accepted anyway.

He’s a career prosecutor. He knows there’s almost no voter fraud, and very little election fraud. He leapt at the opportunity, scant weeks before Pak was due to resign and he himself would be asked to step down, to meddle in the GA controversy, and still maintained he was shocked to discover there weren’t reams of evidence of electoral fraud. Total BS. He just realized he had nothing to work with. Trump, Lin et al were more delusional and less competent than even he realized.
