It’s actually quite telling that no one in TFFG’s administration knew about organizations like Operation Food Search operating here in MO and IL. Or Feeding American which works throughout the US.
Perdue as head of the Agriculture Dept. should have known since a lot of these groups worth with the AG Dept. They reinvented a wheel that was already in the marketplace.
It’s second nature to them now, it’s like breathing in and breathing out.

I take this as more proof that the best and most effective program is a check from the Treasury, directly deposited to everyone who is eligible, automatically. The Rump wasn’t wrong about everything, even though he tried to ruin that too by plastering his garish Sharpie signature on it.
All that matters is that hungry Trump voters got fed and those others who failed to appreciate His Greatness were punished.
