Wow, that’s hard to believe, It’s so out of character for him to blatantly lie about something. If you ignore the millions of lies he’s told, he’s a real straight shooter who tells it like it is.

It will come out a few weeks after the program is introduced that 19 companies owned or managed by Republican donors received 75% of the money. Like clockwork.

Yeah and everybody can go and get a Covid-19 test. The Trump administration level of credibility is below China’s. The US government is as trustworthy as that of North Korea. I guess libertarians are now happy to have destroyed the government.

So we’ve run out of trickle down champagne, but there’s still some PBR in the trickle down fridge.

Note that the funds can be used to restructure debt…which means the Republicans are just fine bailing out businesses while they say they won’t bail out blue states (who aren’t asking to restructure debt or to cover pensions that actually help people). The inequality of our system, and the abuse by corporations and the Republicans, continues to create a nation where you get nothing unless you are one of their (very small) favored groups.

I guess we can hope that their continued hypocrisy and lack of care for the majority of Americans finally lights a fire under people to force change into the system. The vote in November is only the first step to truly take our nation back from the wealthy who have stolen it.

In the 7th week of their recess is the House considering remote voting so we can stop running everything via unanimous consent and giving away the leverage of the only part of the federal government that dems run?

This article is complete bullshit. The Trump administration is giving money to banks who can then make some profit by maybe lending that money out to businesses. This is the only proven solution to helping the poor and unemployed during a massive economic recession!

They. Gave. The. Money. To. The. BANKS.

Solved. Done. What other possible solution is there?

He is not lying, the bailout will help, 35 million to each of his handful of “friends”, no strings attached. See, he was not lying there is 35 million mentioned.

No, not a snowballs chance.

A 1% origination fee makes it almost certain that banks will concentrate on the highest-dollar easiest loans, because that’s where they make the money. But for companies who really need this money to stay in business the banks would be taking an enormous risk. Even a moderate default rate would wipe out their potential profits.

Dems will waste any opportunity to show they will help people. God forbid they try leading. It’s much easier to sit back and watch Republicans fuck everything up and score political points. It’s not like policy matters at all in a pandemic or the economic depression it’s causing. Best to keep letting the Republicans veto anything they feel like. They know what’s best for us anyway.
