Not only has he aided and abetted US enemies, he has actively betrayed the nation’s government and national security. He agitated for and instigated an insurrection. Using lies and malicious deceits he divided the society against itself.
He/gop have betrayed the people by seeking to disable and destroy gov’t functionality and the reliability of its existing institutions upon which the people and many businesses in the nation depend for personal reasons and profit.
He has enriched himself and his family through his corrupt practices in defiance of the expectations of the Office of President.
The gop and their sociopath leader are pirates. I know this because when you hire a captain to pilot a vessel for 4 years, grounding said vessel, setting the hold on fire, tossing the crew overboard, and holding the passengers hostage never appears in the contract language.

Trump is borderline mad, but this time he brought a bunch of traitorous scum into office with him. They are the inspiration for a lot of the crazy EO’s and other actions this week.
This Vought OMB guy is a big source of the problem - he should not be confirmed unless he acknowledges the legality of the Impoundment Act of 1974. Stephen “Nazi” Miller is another. The self-loathing of being born a Jew is strong in this one. He needs to acknowledge that black and brown citizens are just as human than he is. I have no faith that either of these bastards are capable of doing the right thing.
Trump himself needs to be removed from power by the few remaining adults in the GOP before he does more harm. He is going to run the country and the economy into the ground and the GOP will, rightly, get the blame. McConnell should have convicted him in 2021 when he had the chance.
Now, nothing short of a military coup is going to fix this. I acknowledge that this is very improbable unless Trump starts killing or disappearing his political opponents to Gitmo. I also have no doubt, that he is thinking about doing just that. It’s just a matter of time.
We are very near the Event Horizon from which there is no “conventional” escape.

Saw this this morning when I got up thanks to the Guardian. Have since read the BBC account…
I have flown in and out of that airport many times and it is always scary. It may be the only airport that has fully developed commercial and residential buildings on the perimeter.
I have seen some comments as to this being sabotage as the FAA did communicate with the Blackhawk prior to collision but got no response. Stupid people asking why the copter was training at night - do they think military operations only happen in daylight? When we lived along the river in Wisconsin, we often heard copters flying along the river, even late at night. It is normal training operations.
The black boxes, when recovered, will tell all. In the meantime, stay tuned for the politicization of something that has cost some 70 lives.

Dozens are believed to be dead and emergency services were on scene overnight battling the freezing temperatures to rescue or recover the 67 individuals in the air at the time.
Shortly after Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump had been briefed and was monitoring the situation, the president took to Truth Social to wildly speculate about the situation.
“The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport,” Trump said. “The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane.”
