State Rep. Scotty Campbell ( R ), resigned his seat shortly after being confronted by a Nashville TV station about a three-weeks-old secret ethics panel finding that he sexually harassed an intern.
So, if they had released the secret ethics panel finding when it came out and he’d resigned, they wouldn’t have had the super majority to expel the two black lawmakers, and would only have looked like sexual harassers.
But since they didn’t, we get a threefer:
- They look like sexual harassers, plus
- They look corrupt, for trying to hide the ethics panel report, plus
- They demonstrated to the whole world that they’re racist pigs, for voting to expel the Black guys but not the white woman.
