It includes individuals’ full names, addresses and birth dates, among other details that could be used to steal their identities,
They make it all sound so simple. Is there anyone left that feels that information in combination with a SSN has not been compromised long in the past. However, if it motivates us into creating a new, secure system of identification or even a retread of SSNs, that would be a good thing.
Are there countries out there with a better system at the moment? Totalitarian ones are non-starters.
