Sinema needs to be put in the corner. She’s creating performance art while action is needed. I hope someone put a geotag on her because her running off to Europe is crock of shit. She’s not up for re-election next year, and unless she’s negotiating Alexi Navalny’s release she has no business leaving the country.
Former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe (D), the Democratic candidate, has been saying the same.
Actually, he said this during a recent debate:
“I think the three-point-five’s too high. Sure,” McAuliffe said.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she does something very politically flamboyant. Just what, I don’t know, but it would be worthwhile to set up the wildlife blind, get out the telephoto, and watch.
Oh and btw, if we’re obsessing about poor morale amongst Northern Virginia Democratic voters being a key to the election’s outcome, then we’re as ungovernable and diminished as a nation as I feared. If these overpaid middle-class feckless Democratic suburban buttercups can’t be bothered to mail in a vote because they’re so, so overwhelmed, fuck em. Consider that black folks in GA stood in line for 10 hours.
I’m not pessimistic about VA because it’s in the hands of the Dem grassroots who organized with great skill and fervor from 2016 to 2020. People are much more election-oriented in VA now than they used to be.

And this is what gets me, if you’re in politics at this level then you have to be able to read people and the situation, and she’s failing. And yes we make fun of Graham, Cruz, Cassidy, and others but they’ve shown far more focus then Sinema.
Her behavior is House level, not Senate level buffoonery. There’s no rabbit in her hat to pull out.
