NASA cat video feels like the appropriate start to the discussion

Further proof–as if we needed it–that cat videos rule the world . . . er universe.

Jack Smith Still Gets Access To Rep. Scott Perry’s Phone

It’s curious that Trump, Perry, Meadows, and others maintain that public officials are granted absolute and unchallengeable immunity by the Constitution to overthrow that very Constitution.

What’s worse, the media always seem to dredge up purported legal scholars who suggest the argument is plausibly true.

The other states should grow a pair. “No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold ANY office, CIVIL or military, under the United States. That includes President." It is not just Senator or Representative. Any office covers President.

Of course he didn’t READ “Mein Kampf.” He listened to the audiobook.

I saw you float the argument in a response to me, many months ago, that POTUS is not an ‘officer’ when I cited a U.S. Penal Code.

Now I see that CO Supreme Court was calling that ridiculous and absurd when that very reason became the basis for much of Chump’s arguments in that case.

I couldn’t find any other ‘reasoning’ offered as explanation to bolster Chump’s claim in that regard. I told you at the time it was ridiculous and absurd…but you correctly singled it out as an obstacle which, sure enough, has surfaced in this CO spotlight.

Can you explain it any better, or is it purely an oversight of language that is being exploited?

Colorado’s Supreme Court has highlighted Trump’s criminality. That does help my mood on these especially dark days. I’m grateful for little blessings.

Was off-line the last two days due to the Northeast storm. The farm was without non-generator power and internet for about 30 hours.

So I come back on line to find all hell has broken loose. Can’t leave you all alone for a moment.

In our immediate area, we did have to deal with downed lines, but this was particularly interesting:

The road is on fire, due to the downed power lines. In later photos in the light of day, one can see the burned asphalt in the road. This is just a couple of miles from us at the farm.

Maine has thousands still without power after the storm.

If you’re behind the plate and calling balls-and-strikes, the Law of Large Numbers says that eventually you will have to call, “Strike 3! Yer…oooooouttttt!”

I think someone highlighted the parts he needed to read. Plus back in '80s listening to audiobooks meant wearing headphones. Headphones messing up Donnie’s hair is a nein, nein, nein.

Good chance there will not be anything from his District since he is hardly ever here or visible.

Two sentences stood out in the Politico article about the decisions made about Perry’s phone records.

Perry appealed Howell’s ruling in January, and the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals quickly halted her decision, considering the matter for another eight months before ruling that Howell had gone too far.

Howell had gone too far. Then,

Boasberg ultimately agreed that nearly all of Howell’s initial determinations were correct.

Hmmm. Being a judge is hard work, especially in the Trump era.

I thought, but haven’t read this yet today, that it was a group of Republican voters in Colorado who brought the suit against Trump’s inclusion in the R primary.

Anyone know for sure?
