Read that NBC report about Lewandowski, what a perfect cipher for Trump 2.0.

Greed, narcissism, sociopathy, did I mention greed? Jealousy, immaturity, no qualifications for their putative function, just sitty, selfish assholes thru and thru.

If NI, will it be governed by Knights?

“So when we talk about supplementals, generally, we’re talking about eventually replacing the assets that we’ve already spent, we’ve already used."

“Well, darn. We’re going to spend your taxes on ‘defense’… against Iran or maybe Cuba or perhaps Venezuela. So, sorry. We can’t afford health care for at least another generation. You know.”

“When we pay down the debt.”

This proves that the recent ask ($200B) is to back door approval of said ‘excursion’.

My original estimates for the direct government spending on this war were in the $100 billion-$1 trillion range. Based on this budget request, and the foggy military and other damage reporting I am seeing, my revised estimates are now in the $900 billion-$1.4 trillion range. Beyond that, we will need to help Israel and our Gulf allies rebuild civilian and industrial infrastructure, give handouts to airlines, subsidiize domestic drilling, bailout insurance companies from bankruptcy, and help Iran recover, which easily could cost $2 trillion-$3 trillion in the next 3 years.

Here is my take on Trump’s war. He has used it not only to entertain his egomania by setting off bombs, he has now made Russian and Iranian OIL into two of the world’s most valuable commodities by lifting all sanctions on both of them.

Iran even got to hurt its Middle Eastern competitors in the oil business by striking their oil facilities. Putin’s flailing economy gets a shot in the arm.

MISSION VERY ACCOMPLISHED, NO?

If Congress passes that bill and it is considered to be a retroactive approval of the war, does that mean that treason would be a viable charge for :tangerine::poop:’s impeachment?

200 billion will not come even close to defeating the now most powerful nation on the planet. Seriously, Iran controls the whole thing now as they have always had the power to do so. This is a fool’s errand on the US part and will make those other thingys in the sandbox, seem like a walk in the park.
