A felony being federal has nothing to do with losing the right to vote. That varies according to each state’s laws, and I don’t know of any that care about federal vs state law felonies.

It may be that “Mail” as referred to in the statute refers to mail already in the system, or mail in a recognized post office receptacle, including the box at your residence, stamped, and intended for delivery and/or pick up by the Post Office. I’m not sure if someone comes into my home and steals an unstamped letter off my desk that constitutes mail theft. I saw him in a photo hold up what he took off Pelosi’s desk, and there was no stamp on it.

Very true. These charges are probably the easiest crimes to charge in order to quickly take him into custody. He seems especially hateful and entitled, so I’m guessing if they take a look at his social media accounts they will find all they evidence they need to show he wasn’t just some innocent sightseer who got lost on his way to the boy’s room.
