This is a great opportunity. For too long, Wisconsin has suffered from minority rule due to gerrymandering and a packed court.
The answer depends on how much a single billionaire family can sway the electorate.
Alas, isn’t the answer to every political question how much billionaires can sway the electorate?
Dude looks like Buffalo Bill’s sidekick, Antelope Andy, who brings out the hose if you fail to put the loshunz on your skinz…
You’re leaving out the Uihlein’s and their greatest contribution to oligarchy, .
This horrible family also funds an astroturf anti-LGBTQ group here in Illinois: https://illinoiseagle.com/2022/10/20/gop-megadonor-richard-uihlein-funding-awake-illinois/
Think of all the good you could do with billions and these morons spend it on making life worse for people.
Proofreading note: You don’t need an apostrophe to pluralize a name. The correct form is Uihleins, not “Uihlein’s.”
I actually think the answer depends on apathy which is another word for turnout.
The billions will sway many of the least informed voters. But the real question is of those informed, those who know what a Kelly victory means to them, show up to vote.
Ron Johnson won reelection by the skin of his teeth in 2022 because Black turnout was down. Hopefully that does not happen again in 2023.
The Gopers’ gerrymandered super-majority takeover applies here in Indiana, too. They’ve even managed shenanigans to take over the County Council and control the [used-to-be] bipartisan Election Board. (The City is suing.)
South Bend/Mishiwaka lost our Congressional rep when the gerrymander stretched IN02 to include a huge swath of super-conservative rural ignoramuses.
The Wis Dems booted him to the curb two years ago.
We’ll do it again.
Then he can be a two-time loser just like his idol.
This race could clear the way to retaking the house…
Whew!!!
At first glance, I thought Alex Murdaugh WAS the GOP candidate.
Remember when our state wasn’t the decisive factor in anything too big? Yeah. Good times.
This guy has a smile that terrifies me. Put the gun down, asshole.
@Hatmama - this is the image I was referring to earlier.
Looks like that pale lard ass could use some real exercise out in the daylight – the fresh air might do him some good. He seems to have had a few too many Wisconsin brandy old fashioneds to be playing with his boyfriends with “freedumb rifles.” Puke.
He might have a lot more time to do that, provided we keep him off the bench.
That’s our @becca656, Always pointing out the positives.
