The New York Post, Breitbart and others in the right-wing media sphere seized on a video that went viral on TikTok over the weekend to eagerly declare that truck drivers across the nation planned to boycott delivering goods to New York City following the verdict in the Donald Trump civil fraud case here last week.
• Predictably stupid.
•• Unpredictably short-lived.
••• Perhaps this may portend how quickly the Trump House of Cards might fall into the ash heap of history with a few more court cases and another election.
It was interesting listening to what problems that are there for truckers going into NYC.
On top of defusing the initial issue.
Remember that Trump is a puffer fish. Always looks bigger than he is. Same for his more rabid admirers.

I once drove a Chevy S10 pickup truck into Manhattan with Kentucky plates. Back in the 90s. Got stuck in an intersection when the light changed and the horn honking started. Then the honking abruptly stopped. I still believe it was the KY plates that saved me. Don’t mess with a hillbilly, he might have guns. Then the light changed.
