Neighbors said several young children were playing basketball when the ball rolled down the street and into Robert Singletary’s yard. They said Singletary got mad and ran down the street, firing a gun at a neighbor.
They said Singletary then came back, shooting at William White as White ran with his 6-year-old daughter, Kinsley.
Kinsley and her father were seriously hurt. Her mother, Ashley Hilderbrand, was grazed by a bullet and is back home now, but William White is still in the hospital.
A Trump-nominated judge denied Alvin Bragg’s effort to block the House Judiciary Committee’s subpoena of one of his former investigators […]. Vyskocil mocked Bragg’s 50-page suit in her ruling, saying, “The first 35 pages of the Complaint have little to do with the subpoena at issue and are nothing short of a public relations tirade against former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump.”
Trump and Mitch packed the court system with sham judges who are ready to be Dear Leader’s defense lawyers when called upon. But her emails, etc.
Lawrence O’Donnell pointed out last night that the judge’s ruling (given a mere two hours after the lawyers were done stating their cases) was 800 pages 8,000 words long, which means that it was written before she ever heard the case.
ETA – I can’t find a copy of an 800 page ruling anywhere. I only found the below 25 page ruling. So now I don’t know what O’Donnell was talking about.
