The First Point Of Trump’s Abortion Policy: Do Not Talk About Abortion Policy

It’s really wild that Organized Money’s takeover of the judicial system depends so heavily on judges who are religious extremists.

Organized Money is basically Libertarians, who believe that a wealthy adult male should be allowed to have sex with any female (of any age) he desires, and that he ought to decide the fate of each consequent pregnancy. There is a lot of overlap between Libertarians and libertines, while there is basically zero overlap between libertines and religious extremists. But the Federalist Society hasn’t been serving up libertines, they’ve been serving up religious extremists.

I guess you war against democracy with the industrialized sophistry you’ve got, not the industrialized sophistry you want. And, once it’s a monarchy, it will be trivial to adjust the laws re: sexual privilege as desired.

Republicans have been in a hard spot since Dobes because what Alito and the others on the court didn’t understand is that the Republican calculation on abortion was to use the issue in perpetutity as a tool to excite the minority of very committed anti-abortion fanatics while never actually overturning the very popular Roe v. Wade. Trump is just another victim of the upside down flag man and his commitment to his religious beliefs.

Another statement by the talker that gives away the only thing that the talker does: talk. He has to talk. It doesn’t matter what it’s about, he must be talking.

Sure, he wants to see others hurt; he wants people punished and he wants to get money away from people and make it his, but the only action he himself ever engages in is talking. (Well, he touches women inappropriately when he gets a chance, but that action is dwindling). It’s clear, he must be talking. Even his meandering, addled nonsensical streams of whatever it is—it’s not conscience—don’t have an effect on him or on the cult, because what he’s saying doesn’t matter, as long as he’s saying something.

The best way to take him down is to stop him from talking. Notice that the thing that riles him most is a gag order. Find a way to eliminate him from making sounds or posting a words and it’s over for him. Very simple, but also very difficult in a world that makes money on sound bites.

The idea that Trump and some of the GOP have that if they just talk nicely about a few exemptions the women will forgive and forget is both patronizing and absurd. Women get a monthly reminder of the stakes.

He thinks that if he just talks about it correctly that women will forget their fear of being forced to bear children they don’t want.

Exceptions is very important.

Exceptions are the power. (The personal power.)

You pass a law. If somebody breaks it, then… you deal. They do it all the time.

Make me an offer. If it’s worth my while, I’ll put in an exception – an unexcommunicado, as it were – so your record stays clean. Basic law and order.

Donald Trump admitted Wednesday that Republicans have hurt themselves with how they’ve been talking about abortion this election cycle and in years past.

“Never mind my bragging about appointing two more perjurious justices with the sole purpose of overturning Roe. The fact is you need to speak more like me, your favorite President.”

You’re not some kind of ailurophobe, are you?

The many inscrutable Feline First Fetishists hereabouts might engage in a catfight with you.

he would “NEVER ADVOCATE IMPOSING RESTRICTIONS ON BIRTH CONTROL.”

That’s not to say he wouldn’t sign the bill if it got to his desk. Just that he wouldn’t advocate for it. He’d leave that to the religious fanatics.

No, the GOP perform the old English law for him. It’s others in his party and the media not holding him accountable that is destroying democracy, not 45* himself.

it seems his team has decided against saying anything until the Supreme Court issues its decision in a case that could restrict access to the medication used to induce an abortion, mifepristone.

When he doesn’t grasp (or care about – a separate issue in his pathological case) the meaning of the words, grammar is the least of your problems.

“Muff gubblit is xynktel forbbit between the qurdishnisters” may be syntactically valid, but it’s completely meaningless gibberish.

But no more meaningless than any words that issue from the forsworn lips of Felon-1.

Biden has a very good campaign team. They have it.

If you want to find someone with a better understanding of what makes Washington work, and how to get stuff done there, you have to go back at least to LBJ. And Joe has ol’ Lyndon beat by a mile when it comes to moral integrity – without taking away anything from the very real accomplishments of advancing civil rights and social progress, Johnson was also a cynically corrupt sumbitch, after all.

Agreed, he could do nothing without his enablers, but there is enough blame to go around. One of my biggest beefs with the illegitimate 45 is the permission he gave for those so inclined to become their own worst version of humanity.

Should Melania get an “incest” hall pass if she were knocked up by Baron? Of course not! Her abortions should simply be legal on demand and completely private, with nothing to claim or prove to anyone.
