Republican former governor: Time to ‘pull back from brink of election denialism’ (msn.com)
Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) called on her party to stop sowing doubt in the integrity of elections and warned of the damage it causes to public servants and democratic institutions, in an op-ed in an Arizona-based news outlet Tuesday.
“It’s time for Arizona Republicans to pull back from the brink of election denialism and win over voters with conservative ideals,” Brewer wrote in a piece for azcentral.com, adding, “It’s time to reverse course and restore public trust in our state’s election system.”
Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Brewer stressed how important it is that, as Republicans, “we reject baseless conspiracy theories and disinformation that seek to delegitimize our democratic institutions.”
Still an ass
Scoop: White House cancels meeting, scolds Netanyahu in protest over video (msn.com)
The White House canceled a high-level U.S.-Israel meeting on Iran that was scheduled for Thursday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video on Tuesday claiming the U.S. was withholding military aid, two U.S. officials tell Axios.
Driving the news: Speaking in English, Netanyahu declared in the video that it was “inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel.”
- In public, the White House expressed bafflement. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre noted that only one weapons shipment had been paused since the war began, while billions of dollars of weapons had flowed unimpeded. “We genuinely do not know what he is talking about,” she said.
- In private, Biden’s team was angry and shocked by Netanyahu’s ingratitude, according to one U.S. official.
Mays and Aaron, or is that some sort oof timely coincidence?
Either way, a darling pair. Thanks for sharing.
The real story of modern Israel.
Yeah, he’s just throwing out shit in every direction and coming from a man probably doesn’t leave tips. Smells like desperation.
Yes, the Republicans I went to high school with will most definitely vote for Robinson. His type is the only type of black man they favor, along with an affinity for Diamond and Silk.
Oh no, this is for the duration of hostilities. Taking ground of your enemy and then deciding how to govern it benignly once the war is done. None of this trading for mere cat photos. If the GOP is as miserable as we believe, we would be liberating four foots from the decadence and neglect of their keepers. Over GOP headquarters we should raise the banners “Cats Rule!” and “Biden\Harris 2024”. And then take all their guns. And lip filler.
Rats, re-read your comment. Got ahead of myself. Well, if the Hive ever does take over the GOP, you can see my game plan.
There are plenty white NC voters who will vote for anyTHING that has ( R ) beside their name.
And sadly there are plenty of blacks who will vote for any black person no matter how outrageously ignorant, hypocritical and hateful they are.
Mark is not the smartest boy in the band.
Lucky to have been a Giants fan since 1958. Willy supported the Giants in may ways long after he retired from the field.
I have a photo from the mid-80s - my then bf “holding” (haha) Willy at second during the culminating game of that year’s Giants Fantasy Camp - the campers vs. the Oldies. Willy showed up on the last day. (I shook his hand!) Stu Miller was kind enough to pitch a hit to the outfield for my bf.
I got to meet a bunch of my Giants heroes - many were “coaches” for the campers and they participated in the afternoon games. (Most mornings I explored around Scottsdale and went to the stadium later in the day.)
True story: One night there was a TON of rain, flooding the field. The Giants rented a helicopter to hover over the field to dry it out.
.
But he fits the GOP need for a meaner, dumber Tim Scott. He’s willing to say very hateful things that normally get White Republicans in hot water. He thinks he’s winning over Republicans by attacking Blacks, but he’s just proving he’s a useful tool, and will be discarded when no longer useful.
