Things got really weird during President Donald Trump’s big speech on “election security” Thursday night.  The centerpiece of the event was a document dump that was posted to the White House website, which Trump claimed to summarize during his televised primetime address. The supposed evidence contained in the reams of pdfs included a wild anecdote…

Strange how they can release this and still not release the rest of the Epstein Files.

I may be going out on a limb here but…well let’s just say DonOLD is not that good with technology. I mean we all saw the photos during the 2024 campaign where he had a woman hauling a printer around while walking behind him.

So, not just a “trove of data, dumped on the White House website”, some things given directly to favored media. I will say the story was full of “purported” and “Trump claims” and this would be a bombshell because it was discovered by DNI and the FBI.

It was concerning enough they had a disclaimer on the broadcast of the show (mentioned in the main thread for today) that basically “he said it and there’s all this stuff that’s supposed to support it, but we aren’t about to say it’s true.”

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: WV Secretary of State Kris Warner issued a statement following President Donald Trump’s speech about election integrity Thursday night.

Secretary Warner said, “West Virginia has yet to receive a call from the White House, the intelligence community, or any other federal agency, alerting us to a real, existing threat to our 2026 general election.

That’s great news for us, because it’s exactly what we’re seeing on our end, as well.

We remain open to any actionable intelligence that will help West Virginia strengthen its election security even further. Until then, we’ll stay the course.”

That’s Natalie Harp, the “Human Printer” who still travels with him. It’s certainly true that he’s not good with technology, but I think the real reason she’s there is that he has presbyopia like most people his age, and he’s too vain to wear reading glasses where he can be seen or photographed.

Because he can’t read text on a smartphone without glasses, she hands him a larger text printout of whatever he wants to read from an online source when he’s out in public view.

Last month, it was the far-right in Israel claiming the dynamic real-estate duo of Kushner and Witkoff had sold out their "brothers’ by the far-right in Israel,

This week it was the Iranians revealing that they had tried to warn JD Vance that the K-W duo was self-dealing and working for Israeli interests.

Self-dealing, as both Kushner and Witkoff learned at law school, is a no-no when you are working on behalf of others’ interests. Both went into real estate investment and apparently forgot that stuff. They also seem to have forgotten that their job as negotiators is to protect the interests of the 340 million Americans they owe a duty of loyalty to, not feather their own nests.

If all this weren’t enough, in 2021 he was broke and in some kind of firefighter training program when he was hit in the head by a steal beam and suffered a serious concussion and some sort of permanent brain damage, “with symptoms including impaired memory, cognitive deficits, headaches, vertigo and light sensitivity.”

The most gut-wrenching, horrifying fact of all:

(An additional, horrifying detail: Brouillette was initially rejected by the military because of his mental health history. “But recruiters encouraged him to go off his medications for a year and reapply, which he did,” and he was then enlisted.)

Imagine yourself capable of time travel. You go back to the early 2010s and try to explain last night‘s speech to someone. It’s incomprehensible. And then try telling them about the reflecting pool saga, or the fight on the White House lawn, or . . .
