Alleged Pipe Bomber Reportedly a Trump Supporter It’s been a reasonable inference for more than five years now that whoever planted the pipe bombs at both national party headquarters on the eve of Congress’ certification of the 2020 presidential election was probably not someone who was excited that Joe Biden had won. As the case…
This horrible Monday’s Heather and Paul:
Again, the missing obit.
Trump induces nausea with ‘ghoulish’ rant against Rob Reiner: ‘Fundamentally evil’
“He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before,” Trump added. “May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”
Other social users were appalled by the post and seemed to agree that it might be the president’s worst ever.
“This is one of the most psychotic things Trump has ever posted,” declared journalist Aaron Rupar.
Asked for comment, Mike Johnson said he hasn’t read or listened to any news coverage, on anything, going back to 1989.
Tina Peters’ lawyer is really leaning into TFG being able to pardon for state offenses.
Ticktin said he believes the founders intended broader presidential pardoning power than typically recognized.
“When the drafters, when our founders decided that the president would have power to pardon, they basically were giving him the power to pardon in all of the United States,” Ticktin said.
He wants it before SCOTUS where I’m sure at least a couple of them will agree, that despite the wording of the Constitution and past precedent, that’s not what was really meant.
2025 is determined to be absolutely ghastly to the very last second. It helps that MAGA are all soulless wrecks despised by their families and neighbors, and therefore possess ample free time during the holidays to inflict more misery on the world.
‘“None dare contest me!”
In what would previously have been something not even considered, RonJohn is asking the DOJ to get involved over a judge’s refusal to recuse himself on a state matter.
Democratic Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul in 2024 filed 11 felony charges against Troupis and the two others in relation to their roles in the 2020 fake elector scheme. In addition to Troupis, the other two charged are Kenneth Chesebro, an attorney who advised Trump’s campaign, and Mike Roman, Trump’s director of Election Day operations in 2020.
The charges allege that the three defrauded the 10 Wisconsin Republicans who sought to cast ballots as electors for Trump in 2020.
Wisconsin went after the guys who brought the fake electors scheme to the state.
Saw a headline over the weekend that read “Trump Tied to Kremlin,” and I really like that image. I can just see it – Hm tied on the outside of the building, a little over halfway up, dangling. He wouldn’t be happy at all, even though in Moscow….. The vision eases some of my disappointment over the obituary’s non-appearance.
There are dozens of stories about this “pardon”, and a great many of them couch their coverage with not so subtle hints Trump’s actions are “maybe” unconstitutional. As if it is a matter needing clarity from the courts. Just weird. No one in major media wants to just say “You can’t effing do that!” Maybe because if they do several weeks later they’d have to stroke Trump a check for $10 million for the privilege of be honest and candid. Everyone is playing the game of “Schrödinger’s Pardon”.
Trump claims to pardon jailed Colorado election clerk Tina Peters, but state officials contend it’s unconstitutional
Tina Peters was sentenced to nine years in prison.
ByLalee Ibssa and Ivan Pereira
“President Trump said Thursday evening he is granting a pardon to Tina Peters, a former Colorado county clerk who is serving a nine-year state sentence for allowing unauthorized access to voting machines — even though the president’s pardon power is widely understood to only apply to federal crimes.”
Colorado Officials Reject Trump’s ‘Pardon’ of a Convicted Election Denier
“The president’s stated intention to pardon Tina Peters, jailed for tampering with election machines in 2020, has set off a legal fight over the extent of Mr. Trump’s pardon powers.”

Trump asserts he has pardoned county clerk convicted in Colorado case
“The impact of Trump’s claim is unclear since Tina Peters was convicted in state, not federal, court.”

States rights for me but not for thee.
Perhaps as a distraction from the ballroom -
Speaking during a reception at the White House on Sunday, Trump said he had tasked his former speechwriter and domestic policy council director Vince Haley with overseeing the “unbelievable” arch near the Lincoln Memorial.
It’s really hard to imagine that anybody could be so vile as he is. Yet he proves it again and again day after day.
Endless permutations of saying “I didn’t vote for this” when they did…3 times. Endless squirmings and wormings of claiming they are really for…xyz…when they voted for what we are actually gettings. Endless ways of not ever admitting that their team is nothing but criminals (but they still want to be part of that team) and could NEVER bring themselves to join the side which has behaved honorably and upheld their oaths.
It’s about the only enjoyment we are going to get out of their predicament. They will never get the civic comeuppance and public shaming, humiliation, and mea culpas that they deserve and that WE deserve to witness. I would be OK with public head-shaving and the slap-gauntlet.
“U.S. demands” is starting to tarnish a bit in the real world. Hopefully for this.
…until 2035.
Is this the same Nate Silver who used to be a numbers guy? I hope not because this doesn’t make any sense.
Can’t wait for those weekly rallies Trump is supposed to do!
There’s no way in hell they’re going to let him do those.
