Judge Chutkan has been ordered to hold a hearing to determine which of Trump’s acts relevant to his indictment were covered by official l immunity vs those that weren’t. Some of these people in this article could be called by the govt to give testimony on the subject of what Trump asked them to do in his effort to Stop The Steal being official vs non-official acts. Barr and Milley are the obvious candidates here, but there may be others whom Trump definitely or potentially tried to get to go beyond the bounds of their and his official duties and into criminality.

I hadn’t heard most of that about Milley before. He thought there was a real coup in progress and that he had to rally security forces to oppose. So we weren’t being hyperbolic to call it a coup. No wonder Trump wants to replace people at the top of the armed forces and intelligence agencies.

Refusing to apologize doesn’t really hurt him in the world of dominance politics.
If you can do a horrid thing, and then have the chutzpah to brush off demands for an apology, that’s a pretty dominance move.
To be clear, it’s not the move of a decent person who you should want in a position of authority if you’re psychologically healthy.
But it is a dominance move.
Which is why I die a little inside when I hear Democratic politicians and D-aligned groups “demanding” that so-and-so apologize for such-and-such.
Demanding? Or what? When they blow off our “demand,” what are we going to do?
All we’re doing is serving up another opportunity for them to show dominance.
Just observe how shitty their behavior is, and move on.
