Warren: “It’s corruption, pure and simple.”
Exactly.
I’m liking Yang right now.
Ha! The gotcha comment to Bernie on race was pitched right to his wheelhouse and he sent it over the fence.
Quite a few suprises in who is having a good night it seems to me. Yang, Klobuchar, even Hoyer. But I think the questions are marginally better than usual. That helps.
They all also seem to be a bit more relaxed and not desperate for time. Perhaps that’s because of the thinning out. And so far no attacks. I do dislike the attacks.
ETA: Biden’s doing better than he has previously too. I think he’s been working hard on his delivery.
Klobuchar:
Register everyone to vote when they turn 18 and let no one, even prisoners lose their right to vote.

What good is it to integrate a lunch counter when you can’t afford a hamburger.
Yeah. Yeah.
Klobuchar’s sounding strong.
She’s doing really well. I’m looking at her with fresh new eyes, for sure.
Steyer following Buttiegieg on China just left me asking what the hell is he doing here. Oh, that’s right. Billionaires.
Buttiegieg +
I still don’t know what to think of Steyer, but he’s been fighting Trump (with his money) since Trump was elected.
He’s not made me a supporter, but he makes sense and has a message that can reverberate with more than just a handful of people. I’m okay with his voice on that stage.
ETA: Biden is doing very well. Definitely had some coaching. Oh and Warren just brought the house down. She’s had a pretty slow night up to this point.
Good one Warren!
I don’t like the Warren attack on Buttigieg. I’d like her to be above that. And he just gave her what for back, and I have to say she brought it on herself.
I’m liking the exchange between Warren and Buttigieg. I’m liking both of them both. They both are comfortable with who the are. They both know who they are.
She’s just a little too finger wagging to me in this particular moment, and I say that as someone who’s been supporting her and contributing to her campaign.
But he’s holding his own.
Yes and now Klobuchar stole the moment from both of them. Good for her. I really am liking her a lot tonight.
I think Mayor Pete pretty much put Warren in a corner. Sort of surprised at that.
She’s the mom who just put a stop to the fight
I almost hate to say it because the more recent debates have been quite snooze-festy, but I’m liking this one. It’s alive.
