The Debunked Biden Allegations Are Incredibly Useful To Dmitry Firtash | Talking Points Memo

It was one month after Ukraine’s bloody February 2014 revolution.

Federal prosecutors in Chicago unsealed a bizarre but pointed indictment against Dmytro Firtash, accusing the oligarch gas middleman of bribing Indian officials in a scheme to corner the market on material for the Boeing 787 supply chain.

Is there any truth to claim I’ve seen on twitter that Victoria Toensing‘s son works for Barr’s DOJ? If so, sounds like conflict of interest, # 123,456.

So much corruption, so little time…

We just need to see the flows of money (aka bribes) from Russian and Russian backed actors to trump, and those around him like Guilliani and de Genova.

I believe it’s time to bring Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing into court. I’d be amused to see how their testimony fares under questioning.

Did this kind of thing happen in 2008?

In 2012?

This is Trumpism.

It is not tied to any political theory, per se. It is the pursuit** of power and wealth by any means necessary, combining the forces of economic, political, educational*** and communication institutions, and weaponized by a select, well-connected group of amoral individuals.

** Including military action
***I prefer to see FOX as both an educational as well as communication structure

If I can pay millions for dirt on rivals, buy companies, corner the market, there are probably worse places to be ‘stuck’ than Vienna. Poor innocent man.

This story is missing the part about Hillary’s e-mails.

These people would not be caught dead trying to establish democratic institutions, but they sure as hell can take advantage of the democratic rights and privileges of those European countries which still possess them.

So was Shokin’s affidavit submitted to the Austrian court? It would be interesting to know what the judge thought of it. And if it hasn’t, that tells us what Firtash’s lawyers think about it.

dunno about that, but Barr’s daughter does I believe.

It appears that DiGenova and Toensing already have their safety net in place: Victoria Toensing’s son Brady joined the DOJ in June as a senior counsel in its Office of Legal Policy.

Meanwhile… Ukraine folded… it was clear that they were on their own, no help from a US subservient to the Kremlim wishes… to be fair they were screwed from the beginning, they are in Russians backyard , just like Mexico if the US decides to invade they are on their own and totally screwed.

Let’s not forget that Firtash was Manafort’s associate (stating the obvious here…Trump’s jailed campaign manager).

Firtash is a Ukrainian oligarch with Russian mob ties who was once involved in a failed multi-million dollar deal to buy the NY Drake Hotel with Manafort!

Indeed, all road leads to Putin in Russiagate and Ukrainegate!

It’s hard to express how badly I want to see both DiGenova and Toensing disbarred and jailed.

True 'nuf, but I gotta figure Dmity’s calculations are gonna change as it becomes clear that Joe and Victoria, Rudy, Lev and Igor could increase his chances of taking up residence in Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
I guess it’ll be kinda like a soap opera wherein the cast is gradually trimmed, either by unexplainable memory lapses and long prison sentences, or by a sequence of unanticipated fatal accidents.

Reposted from another Thread:

["I have said this before on this site. Trump is a demagogue.

McConnell
Barr
Pence
Giuliani

NONE of them, could have achieved the Demagoguery that Trump succeed in achieving. And at this time, that is the only thing that keeps Trump at 41% as opposed to 27% approval.

Every night I pray that the Cult Hold Of The Demagogue will lessen. And it never does."]

Because of our (justifiably revered) norms of Presumption of Innocence, Trump is still president, no matter how much evidence of his criminality comes forward, and, so long as he has not been formally removed from Office his chief concern is that 41% approval mentioned above.

That 41% freezes Congressional support.

Of all the Trump weaknesses, demagoguery is not one of them.

Also, the press need to start asking what did Fox News know about these two, and when did they know it.

I had planned to write something to simplify the story connecting the Kremlin and the Russian mob to Rudy/Trump and this UKR shakedown, but the truth is pretty much out now and it’s really simple! Rudy has no money. Depends on shady foreign clients. Firtash is the front for the Russian mob and Kremlin and needed Rudy’s help to avoid extradition to the US. In return, Firtash lent Rudy his two goons, Parnas and Fruman, paid them all to dig up dirt on Biden. Trump gets his Biden dirt. Firtash gets his case in Chicago dropped. Russia squeezes Zelensky, puts corrupt folks back on the board of Naftogaz, and helps Trump get re-elected. That’s this UKR scheme in a nutshell.

Please God, show us that some of Firtash’s money went into Giuliani’s pocket. Pretty please.
