I guess, I didn’t make that dark enough. When I read the comment originally I thought, “It’s OK to sexually assault Democrats.” The reality is a little darker, you can dismiss any group you choose to target for abuse by declaring them Democrats. When you say the victims are Democrats MAGAs response is always “Oh, that’s alright then.”

Dumbass move by a guy who looked like he had had a few too many drinks, and now he’s out of a job and looking at hefty legal bills even if eventually this does get knocked down to a lower charge as it really wasn’t some violent assault.
Restraint is what’s needed out there, not trying to provoke and make things go worse. Protest is fine, screaming at the cops and throwing things at them is not helpful.
