I doubt that will happen. If this Committee can make it clear that Jan. 6 was not a one day spontaneous event, that many folks planned it and Trump was in on all of it, that most of Trump’s inner circle knew he lost fair and square but were just feeding his ego and that the point was never to stop a steal but to conduct one they’ll have done all they need to do.

The Committee appeared to make an unsaid case for a RICO indictment against Trump and his cronies who are refusing to testify. PA Rep. Perry, Eastman, Trump, et al . . .

As I was watching last night, I kept thinking of the various bad actors and what was going on in their heads. I imagine McCarthy was swallowing back vomit as he saw himself portrayed as the ultimate coward and hypocrite. Various Repubs felt a certain sinking feeling as it was revealed that there were petitions for pardons. But Trump. Holy carp. He must have been freaking raging - a full on eyes-bulging, spittle-flying rage fest. I wish I could have seen it.

That scene is from trump abusing a guy who is wheelchair bound and trembles. It was evidence of trump’s utter lack of and empathy whatever. As one who has effects from childhood polio I am kinda sensitive to that sorta mindless abuse of someone. I am not paralyzed but my spine sure ain’t straight like it should be so it affects my mobility, I walk, but not far like I used to do. Justice would be trump showing obvious physical defects (more than just tiny hands) and people laughing at him to his face mercilessly because of it

Seems like most of us " get it" but for a corrupt Senate, a do nothing DOJ and a packed RW SCOTUS,this matter would have been settled long ago…cowards in leadership roles are jeopardizing our future as a Republic.
ABC ran a “Pride” special as soon as the hearing was over. Which got me thinking, if the Polish government can establish a state-sponsored pregnancy registry, and if run-amok predictive retail algorithms can not only spot a pregnant customer but also forecast their due date within a couple weeks, it would be no problem at all for Republican panty sniffers to identify, out and discriminate against a transgender person.
No way is it coincidence that all the election thieving court decisions are out of the way first, before Roe is knocked down. They wouldn’t dare, without full confidence that the elections can be stolen in spite of themselves.
If Trump is not perk walked into prison then there’s no rule of law.
