This is what happens after the Executive Branch is run as a criminal organization for 4 years. The barn need sweeping.

I clicked past C-SPAN last night and saw “Prince of Darkness” Eric Prince on the screen. I could not believe anyone would give that freak a platform, but realized it was a GQP effort to “investigate” the Trump assassination attempt.

I can’t wait to read the final report, most likely titled, “Marxist / Communist Democrat Mastermind’s Assassination Attempt on President Trump: The REAL Story.”

I won’t claim that “the system” doesn’t need some overhaul, but plenty of cases have been successfully prosecuted under it. I’d point out that the major failures in the docs case can be traced back at least as much to decision-making as anything inherent in the system.

ETA: This case demonstrates just how much a process can be abused by someone with significant legal resources and a judge squarely in his pocket. Perhaps the federal courts can be tweaked to eliminate some of the possibility to egregiously delay and a lower threshold can be set for removal of a judge from a case, but there’s only so much that can be codified before the system becomes stacked against less corrupt defendants.

I’d be curious to see the specific failures and remedies DK has in mind.

I really want to prank the astronauts as suggested.

These are not the actions of a normal human being. What’s with the thumbs up at a gravesite? And how was this photo op approved at Arlington National Cemetery?

But I do know that blaming one corrupt judge for our national plight lets the system off the hook.

I’m still mystified by the decision to charge this case in Florida rather than D.C. The theft of these documents occurred as soon as he took them from the White House SCIF. The crime was committed in D.C. It should have been charged there.

Nothing he does surprises me anymore (the only surprising event would be an act of decency), but everything he does disgusts me.

All of the obstruction, refusal to return docs, etc. happened in Fla. Given the new immunity ruling from the Fascist Six, the only part that happened in DC can no longer be charged (I assume since TCF scarpered with the docs on his last few hours in office.)

Okay, this guy is the weirdest of the weirdos. Who chainsaws off a whale’s head and drives it 5 hours home on the roof of the family minivan? With his 6 year old inside. The same guy who just dropped out of his race for President and endorsed Donald Trump, that’s who! This after stories of dropping a dead bear in Central Park, eating a dog, and having his own brain eaten by a worm. This is a damned freak show! Now environmental groups are asking for the Feds to take action against him. So, of course, a limerick is in order. Maybe with a Moby Dick reference or two.

Call me IsHeWell, 'cause I’m sure not
The whale and I both have brain-rot
I’ve boarded Trump’s ship
For this ill-fated trip
Now we’re sinking on SS Crackpot

but no one judge should be able to wreak this much havoc in such an important case without recourse or accountability.

No one judge did. If not for Thomas, we wouldn’t be here.
