Kinda remind me that Rastafarians considered the Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie as the Messiah. The emperor didn’t believe on the Rasta stuff but he modestly accepted that they were right about the Messiah thing.
Now the Rastas were stoned all the time, what excuse do the Christian Right has?

That’s a huge reason I tend to pooh-pooh any talk of civil war. These people are fat and happy. I’m not aware of any other society that’s ever had members who mostly led such soft, safe lives. They buy potatoes pre-wrapped in foil because that’s evidently too taxing to take care of themselves. They do not have the bravery, ability to sacrifice, and organizational ability necessary to rob a gas station, never mind engage in a civil war. There’s probably not a one who’s been in a serious fistfight since the age of 21. They’re peevish and disputatious, but they’re not warriors. They won’t even go outside when it’s hot or cold or rainy. Every one of us knows many, many people like that. They’re typical. So yeah, sorry. Not gonna happen. They talk about it but they’re talkers.

I suspect the people who worship him don’t see life, but rather death for everything that is beyond their reach. To them, T rumpp is the face of death, and they’re attracted to it because they have no life worth living.
