The bipartisan infrastructure bill is being amended. The first two amendments were approved on Monday night with wide support, but the amendment process could grow contentious if Republicans seek to drag it out.

I can imagine some are. I think weâre starting to see a division line in the traditional plutocracy. In the vast scheme of things corporate heads are not gonna look back on early August GOP senate efforts to slow walk the bipartisan bill in order to stop the budget bill as a reason to stop donating to their favorite Republican senators. If they like the bills they will donate to Dems if at all. If they donât like the bills they will donate to Republicans.
