So which is more dodgy Lev or tRump? Birds of a feather, after all.

Barr works solely at the Dotard’s pleasure.

During his interview on Wednesday with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas alleged that Attorney General William Barr was a major player in the scheme to pressure the government of Ukraine into announcing an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s family.

“Attorney General Barr was basically on the team,” said Parnas. “Mr. Barr had to know about everything.”

I thought Parnas’ downplaying Hyde’s seriousness re. Yovanovitch surveillance was not believable. He stammered, looked away, laughed.

The plot sickens…

Interesting take. I didn’t see it but heard it. I thought it added to his credibility by not piling on. I’ll watch it later.

I watched some of the interview. Can’t help but wonder what the real motivation is on his side. CYA? Vendetta? Under Orders? From who then?

I am even stretching a bit thinking about Cohen’s connections, the Russian Mob and the fact Trump basically screwed over Cohen’s father-in-law.

I took it as though he thought the guy is a drunk joke/borderline psycho but had to find a bit more delicate way of putting it. And I don’t think Lev makes a habit of being so considerate.

I agree with both you. He did look a bit uneasy. Of course, he could have looked uneasy because he realizes what a nut case Hyde is and didn’t want Hyde’s wanna be illusions to tarnish his testimony.

Now what I will wait for is to watch Adam Schiff layout the timeline with all the new information Parnas has provided (that can be confirmed by evidence such as text messages, call records etc.) and then ask to add Nunes to his list of witnesses. Okay, that last bit would just be for entertainment value but the proper presentation of the timeline drawing in Trump admin figures at the relevant points would be excellent to have on the impeachment record. So each GOP senator up for re-election can have specific targeted advertising queued up to go in Sept-Nov.

If there is one shred of evidence of this beyond Lev’s statement, fasten your seat belts.

I think he’s staying safe by standing in the public eye.

Have thought that a lot as well. Why between the two of them, Fruman is basically MIA and Lev is everywhere suddenly?

:Plus he doesn’t sound like a drunk or just a hopelessly stupid and amoral Trumpian dumb shit. Does not mean he isn’t one but at least he can speak. So Lev is one of the smarter mob crooks who is just smart enough to understand that Trump and Rudy will never have his back? Okay, I’ll take it. Let them screw each other.

@castor_troy brought that up on another thread:

From the material that was released yesterday, it sounded like Parnas didn’t respond to a lot of Hyde’s texts or responded late or only with one simple word. Hyde was apparently sending way too many texts.

Incidentally, said nut case was supposed to be releasing a statement or something this evening. Anyone see that?
