There are no moderate Republicans. They all basically want the same things. It is largely just a question of style and mannerisms. If Mr. Trump were re-elected they would all fall in in line with the MAGA agenda.

Here’s Cancun Cruz on Hannity, blaming Joe Biden for the “open” border, because more immigrants on the terror watch list are being caught. At the border. In numbers greater than Trump did.
"Let’s go back to 2017. You know how many people were apprehended on the terror watch list? Two. The next year? Eighteen. The next year? Six. The next year, 2019. Zero. The next year, 2020. Three.
The next year, 2020. You know how many people on the terror watch list? Fifteen. What happened in 2021? Joe Biden.In 2022, Ninety-eight.
“In 2023, one hundred and sixty-nine. This open border we have is an invitation for terrorists to come,” he said.
So there you go. Joe Biden is too efficient, catching more terrorists at the border. I don’t know why Cruz has a problem with that, nor do I actually care. But if you say it on Fox with your angry face, and gesture emphatically while you say it, the viewers we believe that it’s somehow nefarious.
