The Award For Most Bad Faith Refusal To Acknowledge Biden’s Win Goes To… Ron Johnson | Talking Points Memo

Begging your pardon, but those tariffs are paid by the US taxpayers not China. This is an important distinction that needs to be made. Apparently both you and the farmers are not aware of that. Not attacking you, but this is how disinformation spreads.

I never said they were paid by China. They are tariffs on Chinese goods, thus I called them Chinese tariffs. If I wasn’t clear, sorry.

The money collected was used to support farmers.

Biden won the election with a comfortable margin despite all of their efforts. They won’t win this battle either. They were hoping for a 2000 scenario are were denied.

I understand the appetite for vengeance, but I’d settle for Class C felony.

Can someone tell me how much we have lost in the House and how many seats we do have? I lost a link I had which provided me data in 2018. Thanks.

I thought I read that he is retiring. May be mistaken about that.

I listened to a great podcast about how video games are basically addictive drugs. They rewire your brain for a specific kind of engagement and reward you with pleasure chemicals.

Somehow, social media seems to have captured a whole lot of noggins the same way. That’s the only way I can connect the dots about QA.

Which she has done for a decade.

They are freaks alright and they are destined to go back to the fringes with the rest of the freaks once this carnival barker sideshow is over and all the tents and trucks have left DC. I figure that will happen sooner than January 20.

Actually, I think trump is up to eleven failed lawsuits so far.

Putin hasn’t congratulated Biden yet either.

Right, tariffs on foreign goods are taxes paid by Americans.

I don’t play video games, but I do check the comment section of TPM multiple times a day.
Another aspect of all of it is the reward aspect. Does anyone like my comment?

No really. DOES ANYONE LIKE MY COMMENT?!?!?!

eta, reminds me of the John Lithgow, film, The Tomorrow Man, where he was a doomsday prepper and his online search for relevance.

Sure Trump is gone, but all of his biggest enablers in the Legislature are still in power. All I’m thinking of is back in 09 when Obama won, but the GOP managed to scuttle anything we could do by abusing the filibuster. Even if we win both Georgia seats, Manchin stated he’d oppose filibuster reform so there could be a huge chance no new health laws, stimulus bills, or judicial reform gets passed in 2021.

And the biggest things we used to rely on like polls or massive turnout backfired on us spectacularly. We can’t rely on waiting for changing demographics to flip states like Florida and Texas Blue and we can’t assume all of the minority votes will save us. We need to pluck off some rural voters as well and actually help with the problems in their community.

Trump will be gone in 10 weeks, but it’ll take years to undo the effect he had on the American electorate and turning the GOP into an even more corrupt and fascist party.

I’d take that pledge as seriously as Lindsey Graham’s pledge to only be in office for 12 years, which was 24 years ago.

We voted out the obvious fascist. That was the most important thing.

All the rest we can deal with in time but right now those things are just being used as weapons to deflate our win. Or at least that’s how I see it.

Nothing is ever 100%. We always have opposition. Watch it change once the goddamn orange babyman is gone. Give it a chance! Concentrate on what we accomplished instead of what isn’t what you wanted.

Ron believes in a peaceful transfer of power to President…wait for it…Putin.

Those rubles don’t earn themselves.
