For someone who’s talked a lot about the peaceful transition of power between presidents, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has done less than nothing to assist in the peaceful transition between the Trump and Biden administrations.

My neighbor had dinner on Sunday with a couple she’s known for 30 years. He’s retired military and a Trump supporter. When she asked how he could support him when Trump said soldiers were suckers and losers, he said, “When did he say that? Show me video of him saying that.” She talked about the remarks being made in France, but he didn’t believe her, or claimed not to. He wanted proof.
The wife sat there and kept her mouth shut, and the 25-year-old daughter got up from the table in disgust and left.
