The Air Force made a bizarre stop at President Donald Trump’s Turnberry resort in Scotland on the way to Kuwait while delivering supplies earlier this spring, according to Politico.

“An Usual” detour?

Isn’t that unpossible?

It’s called bribery, or, if one is classically educated, tribute to caesar.

The great circle route was amended. A sharpie drew a bump taking it further north to Glasgow.

When this nightmare is finally over, we can play the Source It: WH Press Release or TPM? game

For an ordinary President, this would be a huge scandal; perhaps the biggest scandal for most Presidents. As Trump scandals go, though, meh!

If we do not impeach the motherfucker, Democrats are complicit and on the record as saying this - and everything else he has done - are OK and not actions that are subject to impeachment. Words criticizing it are not sufficient, they are just fucking empty words. Impeach him, and put the full responsibility and blame on the Republicans in the Senate if they don’t convict.

The Articles of Impeachment should be about 15 pages long by now.

Maybe Trump had scheduled a secret meeting between the EU and Great Britain to solve the Brexit Crisis, but it was called off on account of uppity Loch Monsters…

So if Democrats don’t engage in useless political theater it means they’re to blame? Look, I’m sorry the Founding Fathers didn’t give us any proper way to deal with criminal presidents, but tearing down the Democrats because they don’t send strong enough messages is ridiculous. Meanwhile, Republicans are just doing what their voters want and they’d be voted out if they go against Trump.

If we can remove Trump from office, we should. If we can’t remove him from office, it’s just a waste of time. Impeachment won’t make him more or less popular. Everyone in America already knows what they think about Trump, so impeachment would be Kabuki Theater and not productive.

Wonder what the chances of getting mental health counseling for more than half the nation that is on the way to severe PTSD by prolonging the reign of this tyrant.

This is more than a “detour” story.
This is a corruption story

This is more than a “resort” story
This is ETTD corrupting the Pentagon

This is more than some low-key “explainable”-Obama-did-it-too metaphor
This is yet another rung on the slippery ladder to the bottom…where Trump squats in filth

Impeachment is not political theater. It’s the only way provided by the Constitution to remove a president like Trump, other than to allow his actions to continue until the next election.

And it’s not a popularity contest. It’s doing the job required of a member of Congress.

Paying commercial rates for fuel is not a cost savings.
Driving 25 miles from the airport to Trump’s property is not saving money.
There are hotels much closer to the airport, for half the “military rate” that Turnberry is charging the American taxpayers.

It’s in the Republicans’ secret better, cheaper health plan to replace the ACA.

This sort of corruption makes me want to not pay my federal taxes…and I’m a firm believer in paying my fair share with a sense of gratitude for living in this great country.

This actually might be the non-Mueller scandal that plays a big role in doing Trump in.

He redirected the military to land in Scotland for the purpose of using taxpayer money to enrich himself with spending at the Turnberry hotel. In addition, the Trump Org has a business relationship with the airport. A portion of the $11 million spent in fuel and other costs at the airport quite likely made it into the accounts of the Trump Org. The type of relationship that the Trump Org had with the Prestwick Airport is sometimes referred to as a Teaming agreement. It’s a loose arrangement that is intended to be opportunistic. It often involves joint marketing, customer referral and most of all joint revenue share. The agreement could’ve simply said that Trump Org gets x% of all revenues from American customers that use the airport. This is massive grift and corruption.

We were told that the dems would be a check on Trump if they took the house. It seems the lawlessness has only increased with virtually nothing to stop it.
