The 3 Worst Aspects Of Aileen Cannon’s Latest Shenanigan

Per Wiki–

During the Capitol storming, when Pence was forced into hiding, Eastman exchanged e-mails with Greg Jacob, Pence’s chief counsel. Jacob wrote to Eastman, “Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.” Eastman replied by blaming Pence and Jacob for refusing to block certification of Trump’s loss in the election, writing, “The ‘siege’ is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so that the American people can see for themselves what happened.” Later in the day, when the rioters were expelled from the Capitol and Pence was again presiding over Congress, Eastman told Jacob in another e-mail that Pence should still refuse to certify the election results:[97] “Now that the precedent has been set that the Electoral Count Act is not quite so sacrosanct as was previously claimed, I implore you to consider one more relatively minor violation and adjourn for 10 days to allow the legislatures to finish their investigations as well as to allow the full forensic audit of the massive amount of illegal activity that occurred here,” Eastman wrote.[98]

Stop digging you cretin.
You’re going to go through some things.
Things you thoroughly brought upon yourself.

I hate trying to be fair sometimes, but I don’t think you can say he brought us Trumpism. Prepared the soil, tended the fields of, lots of descriptions work, but only Trump could bring the Trumpism. It wouldn’t have grown without Rove, Gingrich, Lee Atwater and a cast of thousand enablers, but saying he brought it gives him too much credit. All those guys are like the kid who pointed a pistol at their foot and pulled the trigger. I give Rove full credit for saying “Christ that hurts,” where as, Gingrich having blown one foot off is saying “Cool, let’s do it again.”

I’m sure this has been posted, but for anyone who’d like to see it again:

  • Trump Media is “a scam,” and people buying its high-flying stock are “dopes,” IAC Chairman Barry Diller said on CNBC when asked about the social media company backed by Donald Trump.
  • “They’re buying it for other reasons, just like they bought theaters when there was no theater business or bought GameStop,” Diller said.

hahaha!

"Cannon called the Mar-a-Lago case a ‘complex case of first impression.’ It is neither.”

Yes, same person who was completely perplexed by a properly sworn, signed and executed search warrant.

Indeed. Rove was revealed to be an institutionalist scumbag.

I can’t believe that Eastman hasn’t pull a Clarence Thomas, or Alito trick and found precedent in some 12th century judge’s ruling over when elections don’t turn out like you want them to.

Wow, so much to digest. “Judge” Cannon is going to delay this trial as much as humanly possible, but I think Mr. Smith is still three moves ahead of her. One can only wonder if Biggs and Gosar will answer their subpoenas. Can’t wait to see if the appeal bond is found to be bogus. When you’ve lost Karl Rove…your life is immediately better. He didn’t bring us TFG, but he schemed through eight years of the Cheney Administration.

A brutally honest assessment of what’s happening. And today the stock is down again. I love that Diller called him a conman.

Correct! Which is why I said (very late) in the last MM thread that Smith should submit correct jury instructions, and cite her “haha, I was just kidding” language to justify it.

And Rudy Giuliani is still looking for proof of election fraud.

" Trump’s $175 million appeal bond in the New York civil fraud case may not be sufficient under state law, and Attorney General Letitia James is asking questions."

Realize that part of the process of deliberately bringing these fucking traitors to widespread violence is repeatedly and relentlessly creating copium illusions that raise their expectations that they are winning, just so their hopes can temporarily sore gracefully through the air in a shining arc of momentary glory before being smeared violently across the pavement like a bloated highway diaper tossed from a speeding minivan. Maybe they just incompetently fucked up his submission, maybe not, but the game is clear…especially with things like the gross mischaracterizations of Cannon’s nonsense, pretending she’s a brilliant jurist taking Smith to the woodshed, which you can find all over Twitter from prancing imbeciles like Julie Kelly. Raising expectations when they know there’s likely doom around the corner creates a cycle of perceived unfairness, conspiracy and “rigging” that is incredibly effective in both infuriating the KKKult and making them feel cornered to trigger fight or flight psychology.

When you are as inexperienced and naive as Judge Cannon every case is one of first impression and every case is complex.

She had no business being appointed to the Federal bench in the first place. We can all blame Trump, but I am going to point my middle finger at Mitch McConnell. He had a duty to push competent judges which he shirked repeatedly and he certainly knew better than to appoint unqualified people like Aileen Cannon to the bench.
