OK Big G…if we had to have a game show host as President why couldn’t it have been Bill Cullen instead of this turd Trump?
I was working on a proposal to build a 3-5Mw solar field on a mined out gravel pit in the NE but my partners and i have agreed to pause the project until we can better forecast the material and construction costs.
With the tax credit this was a fairly low risk project with decent returns. We would finance 70% of the cost. The 30% tax credit lowers the risk of this project, sure, but more importantly would allow us to roll the capital from this investor group quickly into the next project because the capital investment would be returned to us the year the site was turned on.
Without the tax credit the project is much higher risk and solar companies will require more capital which cannot be rolled into the next project as quickly.
Just another example of dump’s deep need for revenge and whim justification. His inability to have the windmills off the coast of his Scottish golf course removed has stuck in his craw for years. But he is oddly fixated on wreaking revenge on inanimate objects.
Yes, he is Don Quixote …except he would never fight to defend a woman’s honor. The insane ramblings are spot on.
This article is a bit extreme. Good renewable energy projects will still be done and shouldn’t need massive gov subsidies. The industry is large enough to be sustainable. Also traditional energy certainly doesn’t need any subsidies, but nat gas power replacing coal has done more for ghg reduction than anything else.
The company I work for has a significant portion of business income from wind and solar site base mapping. That’s about 75 good paying jobs directly affected in Ohio, PA and FL. Our business derived from coal extraction and energy production has been evaporating in the two and a half decades I’ve been at this company. No one in this country wants coal for electricity generation. Coal plants that were clients are being decommissioned. No one in this country is building new coal plants.
You mean el Douchebag can’t stamp his feet and issue an EO reversing that trend, while thanking us for our attention to this matter? Ha ha. He’s such a dope.
Vulture capitalists like Mitt Romney just weren’t thinking big enough. Why prey on distressed companies when you can feed on the United States of America? Hate these people.
I keep telling you, he’s 73 years old and he’s dead.
Including us.
Nonsense. Once society collapses and nobody has the technology to make solar panels anymore, that’s that!
