You’ll be surprised to discover that Texas Lieutenant Gov. Dan Patrick’s (R) bold suggestion that grandma ought to let herself die from COVID-19 for the sake of the job market isn’t going over so well with most people.
I think to set an example, the Lt. Governor should be the first to submit itself to the Trump Death Panel.

This is a small (very small) proportion of the rage coming Trump’s way when more people die because of his words and deeds.
Build a lion pit on throw in the old people. Put it on Pay-Per-View. Might as well create a twofer and pay down the debt.
I suggest that Patrick get off his aging ass and go work in one of the factories producing face masks and other PPE items. Or go do some shifts at a fast food joint. Why is anyone taking advise about working from a politician?
Or how about a hunger games type arrangement for all the folks that contract it?

I chastised the poster saying Trump had already failed and that things would get a whole lot worse because of his desire to be protected from bad news via the ‘Democrat hoax’.
But this sentiment is out there. Make no mistake.
The people who will be forced to go back into the workplace probably don’t have 401Ks to support. That doesn’t mean that people staying in their homes, barricaded by the safety of their investments, don’t face jeopardy here, but they certainly don’t have to be surrounded by the teaming millions.
