Texas Judge Violates His Own Stay At Home Order To Go To Grandson’s Birthday Party

In that case, which one is the sub-set?

"If any of this sounds familiar, there is an analogy to be made between anti-vaxxers and climate-change deniers. Both groups place faith in a gut-level sense of their rightful position on an issue that has far-reaching existential implications. And both groups refuse to acknowledge the vast body of sound scientific literature proving them wrong. "

The Anti-vaxxers I would wager…

Is it any surprise at all that this clown was once a pastor in Jarrell, TX? Of course not. He’s an arrogant, self-important right-winger who thinks he’s extremely special; so special that he’s aligned with the invisible man in the sky. This is so predictable. And, for those who care to do some thing about this, an anonymous complaint can be filed with the Texas Judicial Conduct Commission. Of course, due to the power of judges, complaints are never released to the public, nor are they ever again discussed; the commission keeps everything secret so no one knows what really was done. Nevertheless, file a complaint here: http://www.scjc.texas.gov/

Willful is, as willful ignorance does.

Ralph, don’t mean to hijack, here, but I was thinking of you all last night. How is your daughter holding up?

I agree, based on observation and conversations.
And, anecdotally, yesterday evening I went to pick up my biweekly mini-pizza from Pizza Hut. They were not limiting the number of people in the small pick-up area, and I was the only person in sight wearing a mask. This morning I went to the farmers’ market and the food co-op for my real food for the week, and I only saw one person who was not masked in either place. Granted, both places have reserved the early hours for those more at risk.
Still, it painted a little sketch of how education and belief systems inform life choices in more ways than one.

Maybe he wore the protective gear and had the fire department drive him to the party to disguise who he was and it had nothing to do with his believing it was unsafe. You get the feeling he doesn’t actually agree with the medical experts and government officials who asked him to issue the Stay At Home order.

Hey, I go to church to save the economy. Doesn’t everybody?

Funny… Was just talking about this, then ran into this scary article about claimed presidential powers that are all highly classified.

Good. She’s better. SARS-COV-2 test (r(RNA) type) was negative. False negative?? She doesn’t think so, but who knows? A fellow employee told her that they had similar symptoms, fatigue, mild on/off fever, chills, mild cough. Not a cold, not seasonal flu.???

Anti-vaxxers:
Did Jaysus come walking across the water with a scientific proof proclamation carved in stone?
Did he come down off the cross yesterday and write a refutation of our position in blood with his own finger?
Will his first words to the women who see him at the tomb tomorrow morning be “vaccines are acceptable”?
Talk to us when any of this has come to pass, you heathen.

And yet it works, because so many of us LET THEM. I don’t think most people realize the nature of the con they’re pulling, and that it’s mostly a con and that their success with it so far is by far the biggest reason that the overall so-called “conservative” project has succeeded.

They’ve convinced people that they’re conservative, which they’re clearly not, AND that their alleged conservatism is good and noble and sincere even if not everybody necessarily agrees with or likes it, and is thus deserving of tolerance and respect, when in reality the only things they actually believe in and practice are power, greed and race, class and gender-based oppression. It’s like the Nazis came back but newly rebranded with less threatening clothes and regalia and much better PR.

To a large extent, beating them requires us to see AND call out this Great Lie. They are NOT conservatives. They are corrupt and racist self-dealing fascists. PERIOD.

Is De Santis bothering to collect any data? Does he have a plan or developed protocols which he is willing to share with the public? I highly doubt it. Pray Away The Virus might be the extent of it.
