Tense Shouting Match Breaks Out When Dem Confronts House GOPers On Gun Control

I saw it and then rejoiced.

And it would be nice if gun violence stats were collected more extensively: https://www.usnews.com/news/health-news/articles/2023-03-02/americas-lack-of-gun-violence-research-hinders-prevention-efforts

Rep. Bowman is my representative. His nonsense with the “squad” and closeness to Sanders and AOC worries me. But he right on here.

In High School a friend of a friend was the Athletic Directors son (at a cross town HS). He had copies of all the keys necessary to access ANY room on Campus. He once made me a fake Student ID card in their Office so I could buy a ticket the Prom at that HS (which was cool and fun, didn’t harm anyone).

You can’t effectively argue with these people down at their level. The best approach, following Obama’s example, is that you can make a few comments that light them up and then watch them self-immolate in front of the TV cameras.

Get over it!

Still have a card in my wallet, “You are like Venus de Milo; beautiful but not all there.”

Nope! Democrats like the ones I mentioned will ensure a minority status nationwide.

Most firearms instructors oppose arming teachers. Here’s one of them explaining why: https://www.stonekettle.com/2018/03/bang-bang-crazy-part-13-stand-and-teach.html

Since Q has a supposed interest in protecting children perhaps this mysterious creature will stop with the pedophilia bullshit and focus on the weapons of war which are actually aimed at our children and fired.

Unless the Republican party is some Satanic cult that believes that every drop of innocent blood spilled brings them one step closer to allowing their dark savior the Morningstar to regain his eternal throne and power over the realm of earth.

My money is on the latter.

Of course they are. That’s art.. /s

“73% of teachers oppose carrying guns in schools.”

I also remember a problematic teen (a classmate, not me) who twice made teachers so crazed said teachers had to be physically restrained and talked down. These were really good teachers, not the bitter ex-jock of middle school lore.

It is sobering to think what might have happened if these teachers had been armed.

The Republicans are just cowards. Rep. Massie is only one of the worst of the worst. He is nothing but another accessory to the murder of children in his sick worship of his guns and his refusal to consider ways other than more guns to stop the mass murder. He doesn’t get it that a home with guns is a home where gun murder and suicide are much more likely to occur. I hope for his kids’ sakes that none of them ever develop depression and use one of his guns to kill themselves. It happens every day in other gun worshiping homes. A man as stupid as he is doesn’t belong in Congress. He is barely capable of pushing a broom or digging a ditch.

And now for a realistic situation. Angry student finds teacher’s gun and kills teacher and students.

There was the case of a man at a Mall shooting who did try to be the “good guy”. In the melee, the cops saw him running with a gun, and shot him dead. He, incidentally, was black, and of course the cops assumed that he was the perpetrator.

It is perfectly logical. The people (mostly males) who are so sure that they are adept and skilled in handling firearms are in fact probably the very people who should never be allowed to handle firearms.
The more firearms they feel the need to own, the more they should be monitored for the danger they post to themselves, their families and society.
There is a definite correlation between the worship of firearms and emotional and mental instability.
