Tennessee Anti-Abortion Republican Claims He Remembers His Birth

Big deal. I remember my conception.
Wish I didn’t. I’ve never been able to look at my parents again.

Not so many of them would faint at the sight of blood for one thing. Nice conceptual idea, what would a man’s period be like? Flushing of sperm–gotta have some cramps with that…

Did the Republican Party of Tennessee recruit this guy straight out of the state mental hospital or what?

One flew east, one flew west, one flew over the Cuckoo’s nest…

If you can’t make policy based on this idiot’s imagination, you can’t make policy. Science fact.

My understanding is that dreams play an important role in learning how to deal with new situations and experiences.

I did a lot of dreaming in that same ‘growing up’ time period as well. What I learned years later, by chance, it’s not necessarily the things/objects in the dream, like a train going down tracks out of control as in early Walt Disney animations. It’s more about the emotion - the train being out of control - is where to find the meaning of the dream, or where to look for the answer. It’s cool stuff.

There seems to be an endless supply of crazy, deluded people in the R party. Maybe that is why so many are Evangelicals or vice versa. Science is an alien concept to them.

so I limit my dreams to impossible sexual encounters and entirely accurate visions of the future.

This sounds eerily like the scene in that sci fi movie where the creature gestated inside the human body and burst out in a rather unpleasant and terrifying manner.

With blood and ‘parts’ splattered all over the screen.

A Tennessee Tea Partier claimed earlier this week he has a “conceptual memory of being born”

I know multiple neuroscientists, and not one of them knows of a single instance where an individual has memories of their own birth. I suspect that multiple psychiatrists have met individuals that claim to have memories of their own birth, and I suspect that those individuals are under the care of those psychiatrists. In other words, the claimant is either delusional or lying or both.

I just dreamed of BLOTUS falling into an extremely large wood chipper that was running full tilt under high power. I felt really good when I woke up until once again experiencing reality. At least I realize that my dreams are not historically factual…yet.
