Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) started a Twitter fight with “Hellboy” actor Ron Perlman early Monday morning in which the senator volunteered Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who served as assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University, to wrestle the actor.
. You talk good game… wait, no you don’t. You can’t even stand up to the guy who insulted your wife and dad.

Listen Hellboy. You talk good game when you’ve got Hollywood makeup & stuntmen. But I’ll bet $10k—to the nonpolitical charity of your choice—that you couldn’t last 5 min in the wrestling ring w/ @Jim_Jordan w/o getting pinned. You up for it? Or does your publicist say too risky? twitter.com/perlmutations/…
"Here’s the thing you have to understand about Ted Cruz. I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz." – former U.S. Senator Al Franken
These bicker-fests are rarely any participant’s most shining moments but Cruz is just maladjusted. Every anecdote just further cements the idea. You feel like telling him to knock it off and don’t make you come down there or you’ll regret it.
Teddy boy doesn’t like to see his “ugliest politician walking” reputation impugned. He’s homely and proud of it in spite of his current Wolverine vibe.
