CNN “State of the Union” host Jake Tapper slammed the White House on Sunday for turning down invitations to appear on his show and discuss the many scandals roiling President Donald Trump’s administration.
The White House can’t even keep their story straight for Fox. What the heck are they going to say on CNN or God forbid, MSNBC?
And Congressional Republicans can’t keep straight what the official line is anymore. It’s as erratic and changeable as Trump’s mood swings. Only thing they can do is duck for cover and let Trump speak for himself.
A mood ring and decoder could be useful. But the one color (orange) delivers different messages throughout the day, reverses itself after 48 hours, and comes in a size too small to fit on the average human hand.
Can’t mansplain the indefensible and the un-hingedness of the Extortionist-In-Chief, who Self-Impeaches, Self-Incriminates and Self-Confesses his immoral, unethical, unlawful and criminal actions!
Kudos to Tapper for calling out the misappropriation of American tax dollars!
I would like to see this become a growing trend to the point where reportage gets tough enough that leadership not only feels compelled to show up and explain itself but is prepared to document a clarification of record.
“Access journalism” is a plague that has led to source greasing and outright stenography rather than news that might genuinely inform readers.
