John Sweeney may have to take the bus for the next year and a half.
The former New York GOP congressman has had his driver’s license suspended for refusing to take a sobriety test when police pulled him over for speeding in April and smelled alcohol on his breath.Sweeney still faces a DWI trial for that incident. The boozy former lawmaker and Jack Abramoff crony already has one DWI conviction from 2007.
