So much for your attempt to appear moderate.
What?? You aren’t CONCERNED about how your vote for the drunken rapist might have an impact on the 2020 elections? Are you planning an early retirement? We all hope so and your doubling down indicates you are returning to your first love of sucking up funds from right-wing foundations and lobbying groups.
Good riddance to another useless so-called moderate.
This translates to “I have read the writing on the walls … my only chance is to throw myself into the arms of the right wingers… do their bidding and hope that they turn out enough to get me back to DC…”
Well, that’s the end of the “reasonable” Republican facade.
I bet he’s male : - )
To have regrets you first must have a conscience.
Let us not also forget that she got rolled by the GrIm Reaper during his effort to repeal ObamaCare. She’s no moderate, she has drunk the cool aid.
I hope lots of Maine voters have regrets about voting for Collins.
Hopefully you will, come November 2020. Hopefully you’ll regret it all the way out of your office
GIGs up Senator. I remember when you first ran, promising to only serve a term or two. I won’t regret giving money to your opponent.
Ever notice how these folks talk like the fix is already in?
Her response has that old person, adamantly sticking to their bad decisions vibe.
Like “I told you I wanted the pistachio yogurt despite it makes me sick! And I am not discussing it anymore!”
My only disagreement with that picture is that I don’t think Collins is a sucker at all. She knows full well that she isn’t going to get the concessions that she says she is counting on, or got promised in some nebulous way. It is her voters that are the suckers.
You may not regret it YET. I’m betting you will when your ass gets handed to you.
“The New York Times published a profile on Collins on Saturday, which explored the Maine senator’s future…”
Boris: “Nothingness…non-existence…black emptiness.”
Sonja: “What did you say?”
Boris: “Oh, I was just planning my future.”
Love and Death is one of my favorite Woody Allen movies.
