I suspect that his behavior rises to that of a coconspirator and, so, he is actively complicit in their malfeasance.

Exactly. I recall the headlines after the big Ceasefire Xit, which said both Iran and Israel denied there was any “agreement.”
To me, it looked suspiciously like Well, Israel got to bomb and strafe all it wanted, and the US got to drop its big ones, so now it’s done – tough luck, Iran. You don’t get to respond now.

It was going to take a couple of generations to recoup what the US had lost because TCF first term’s boneheaded direction. Biden made great strides to start that process. Now I’m not certain if it can ever get back to normal. The answer is some kind of reconciliation between all the citizens. Again, based on your history, I’m not hopeful for that to occur.
