It’s not easy being married to the other Kushner brother during the Trump-era.
During a new interview with UK Vogue, supermodel Karlie Kloss, who is married to Joshua Kushner, and related to the Trump family by marriage, finally addressed the dissonance between her vocal liberal political views and her new family ties.
Well, Karlie, you can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your—oh wait, actually marrying into a family means you did pick it. Never mind.
If she married Joshua in October 2018, she knew what she was getting into. She probably doesn’t know just how deep into sh*t things are going to get for the Kushner/Trump families. But, when her brother-in-law is sent to prison (just like his old man) and stripped of a lot of his remaining assets (see Manafort, Paul), she and the husband will get it.
A bit slow on the uptake, I’d say, even if she is a Dem.
that’s laughable that she thinks she’s judged more for her trump connection than the mobster ones.
It just so happens the other Kushner brother is a crook too, so I guess it sucks to be her. Of course…there is no rest for the weary if you’re part of this monumentally fucked up family, but keep patting yourself on the back for persevering because I’m pretty sure, no one else will.
Aren’t trump connections and mob connections one and the same?
What is there to know about her husband? Is he like his brother?
Sometimes love (or greed) can blind you things that are obvious to everyone else. Of course, things will become very clear when the Feds obtain a no-knock warrant to their home at 4 in the morning.
A couple of thoughts…
I don’t know anything about Joshua, so I don’t want to condemn him out of hand for his relatives. Maybe some of you know about him specifically and maybe he is just like his brother and father, but I’ll keep an open mind until then.
If Karlie is who she claims to be, then maybe it is good to have someone on the inside of that family that might hear things. Like many celebrity marriages, especially ones where there is an apparent mismatch in fundamental core beliefs, the odds of this lasting are not great. Who knows what stories she could tell.
Kloss doesn’t deserve this barrage of criticism for describing how tough it is being a trump. Love happens, the brother Josh is a liberal Democrat, is nothing like Jared. She donates and gives her time to progressive causes, but she married a Kushner so she’s deemed to be a villain.
What’s not mentioned is the ongoing project she heads teaching girls how to code so they may later get in the computer science field. Girls alone, not boys,

You’re mistaken. Her husband is nothing like his brother, and she’s not Ivanka. Knee jerk hating on someone no one knows so little about. Except what her last name is.
I read he was able to talk a lot of rich people into backing an Instagram purchase. He doubled his money when Instagram sold to Facebook. It doesn’t sound like he has ever had to work too hard, so he seems to be a Kushner.
I have to watch myself. It is easy to be jealous of somebody who was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple.
He’s got Kushner money, doesn’t mean he has typical Kushner morals. The rich are different than the rest of us. They get money, they invest, they make more money. It’s a matter of how they spend it. These two apparently have social consciences, missing in the other couple named Kushner
Those even remotely in the “Trump orbit” paint themselves as victims as a rationale for their so-called plight. When I was growing up it was called enabling…
