Stuart Varney Stretches Limits Of Sycophancy For Trump

"… he’s not going to lie to this country.”

Oh,I get it. It’s the old “I am not a liar” paradox. Another example of the cheeky sense of humor that pervades this maladministration.

The only Varney on TV with a personality and intelligence died in 2000.

OT: We just had a similar, real-life experience with my Dad. On the same day we moved him into a senior living center (because he couldn’t do stairs at his home), he suffered a mini-stroke. My sister drove 85 mph to pick up his living will and DNR documents, and the doctors said we should prepare to let him go. He whispered that he was proud of us, that we should stay close to our kids, etc. - but his respiration was slowly declining. Suddenly, he became alert and asked us to check if his lottery ticket hit it big (and added that most of it should go to charity). The doctors were stunned, and starting asking him if he knew his name and where he was. I guess it’s routine, but they also asked if he knew who the president was. We were sure my Dad was going to be okay when he replied, “Yes, I know who the jackass president is, but I prefer not to say his name.”

They are all ridiculous. They don’t even consider that defending Trump and his obvious lies throw doubt on their OWN veracity.

A veracity-free world is the only world in which their children won’t die on a scorched heatball.

The best liars find it helps to believe their own lies.

There are no limits of sycophancy for trump.

Was Varney bending over backward, or forward?

He reminds me of an even creepier Robin Leach.

President Trump does NOT lie.

And, the sky is NOT blue, the Pope is NOT Catholic and wild bears DO use outhouses.

So there.

So it’s Joe Walsh who is the Profiles in Courage?

We’re fucked.

No, did you?

A word of advice to sycophants . . . there is no limit. Be prepared to go all the way up to and beyond the horizon, or don’t start down the path at all.

Heck no, one of the few things I didn’t need to lie about back then.
Besides, you only had to count the horses and wagons in the adjacent field to estimate how many families came. I wore my best sunbonnet.

Well-played. I’d have just gone with Boy Howdy!

Modelman said: “Come prepared with a few incontrovertible examples of Trump lying…”

–> Mr. Varney was kind enough to provide ONE major example. Varney pointed out that Walsh accepted Trump’s “birther” lies about Pres. Barack Obama having grown up a Muslim in Kenya.

–> According to Varney, it was a huge problem for Walsh to repeat Donnie’s “birther” lies. But Trump was apparently blameless in promoting those lies in the first place?

Meh. Everyone knows false claims and misleading claims are lies, but they are two distinctly different types of lies. Anybody who doesn’t understand that 12,000 (or even a couple dozen) of those means he lies his ass off, that’s on them.
