No way is that man going to file a lawsuit against the representative. When a man calls a woman he does not know a “selfish little bitch” (just think about those words), he has abused women he actually knows, many times. Someone will explain how discovery works and he’ll be wishing he said something like, “I used words I should not have when I exercised my constitutional right to voice my disagreement with the representative’s policies”.

And besides, if he was so upset because she used the Express Lane with too many items since she was 9 months pregnant and couldn’t stand in line that long, why didn’t he just leave the store and go back where he came from?

Oh, c’mon. Have you been around the last few decades. Women call women bitches, women call men bitches, men call men bitches… I’ve heard it in every context possible, and been called a bitch, told to stop bitching, quit being a bitch, etc. All as a man.
And I was pretty certain that a name like george is a man’s moniker, bitch.
That’s the beauty of the English language. Terms change and evolve over the course of history, such that once-offensive terms become less so, and other previously-innocent terms become offensive.
Just because a term was at one time used as a gender-specific perjorative does not mean that it still has the same utilization.
