The final prosecution witness Tuesday against Roger Stone was former Trump campaign advisor Rick Gates, who testified about what President Trump may have known in 2016 about Wikileaks plans to release hacked Democratic emails.
Mueller asked Trump if he was âaware of any communications during the campaign, directly or indirectlyâ between Stone, Manafort, Gates, or Donald Trump Jr., and representatives of Wikileaks or the other websites that posted hacked emails.
âI do not recall being aware during the campaign of any communications between the individuals named in Question II (c) and anyone I understood to be a representative of WikiLeaks or any of the other individuals or entities referred to in the question,â Trump said.
Cue the GOP tap company to try dancing out of âClinton was different since he lied in a deposition.â
âGates admitted in his testimony that he could not hear Stoneâs side of the July conversation, according to the Washington Post. However, he testified that he was not aware of anyone else who would have been providing information about Wikileaks to the campaign at that time.â
âI have no recollection of the specifics of any conversations I had with Mr. Stone between June 1.2016 and November 8, 2016,â Trump said. âI do not recall discussing WikiLeaks with him, nor do I recall being aware of Mr. Stone having discussed WikiLeaks with individuals associated with my campaign, although I was aware that WikiLeaks was the subject of media reporting and campaign-related discussion at the time.â
âIf you cannot RECALL if you sent a dick pick, you sent a dick pick.â
A/the list of calls from Trump and his personal staff to Stone have been known for a couple of months. Marcy Wheeler found them in the pre-trial docs for the Stone trial. On 10/4/16 these calls were made:
Graham: âIâm tired of these Democrat outlets making fun of my manhood. I was a six time âMr. South Carolinaâ and that makes me âevery cougarâs crushâ and âevery belleâs dreamboatâ.â
Wonder how many nano-seconds itâll be before those voters have their entire lives looked into for anything naughty or that they were a closet liberal or whateverâŠ
So would Trumpâs answers be hearsay since we know this is not how he talks, this is not how he communicates?
If one is supplying written responses to questions then he was under oath, correct?
