Stone Sought Second Pardon From Trump Over Jan. 6, Documentary Reveals

Top MAGA operative Roger Stone, having already been pardoned by ex-President Donald Trump for lying to Congress in its Russia probe, tried to come back for more soon after the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, according to documentary film footage obtained by the New York Times.

Motherfucker, guilty of 40 years of crimes against the Republic, may possibly actually do time. I hope he suffers.

Well, he didn’t get it so I guess he’ll be going to jail soon.

Couldn’t Trump have pardoned Stone “just by thinking about it”?

No. See Marbury v. Madison.

I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest that if Mr. Stone is convicted of a crime, President Biden will not be offering him a pardon. I sure hope he ends up spending some time in the Graybar Hotel.

Oops, too late!

So many of these tough guys lack the courage to face their impending convictions.

Save taxpayers a few bucks, let him check in at a roach motel.

One of Jared’s properties, maybe?

I would love to hear a prosecutor question Stone about that one. “So in your view destroying public property, tasering police officers, and stealing mail is ‘protected political activity’?”

I have hated Roger Stone almost my entire sentient life. When Trump pardoned him, there was mourning in my household.

I know resentment and anger are not good for me, but some motherfuckers are worth the price.

Lock him in a room of any kind with Alex Jones; it will be punishment for both of them.

He could repeat Goldwater’s comment in 1964 and get a rousing applause with
“Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice…”

“I’d be happy if he pardoned me”

Because I broke the law… as planned.

A cold tide is coming in and he has no privilege, no pardon and no bathing suit.

Schoen seemed to be open to the idea, reportedly telling Stone, “If he can be the only president impeached twice maybe you should be the only person pardoned twice.”

Doesn’t work. I’ve been trying to put Stone in jail “just by thinking about it”.

Here are a few suggestions that might help you detox:

  • Pray for him – unlikely to affect Stone in any way, but could make you feel better. YMMV
  • Get an R.S. voodoo doll and stick big hat pins in it – similar remarks apply.
  • Convert hatred to pity – because being Roger Stone really truely is a nasty existence, and pity’s easier on your constitution.
  • Try to imagine what measures could be taken to rehabilitate Stone if/when he goes to prison – especially amusing if you’re a puzzle fan.
  • Join a support group – pick a group that works to elect Democratic candidates for public office; this is your very best route to long term recovery.
