I wonder how many of these you could encourage to go if you had practically unlimited money?

Apparently, only Republicans can spend unlimited money - then complain about anything having to do with spending money.

Blue district Democrat backing BigPharma. Yes, we could do better.

Depends on what the new district map looks like, but the general area makes her a poor fit for the current district.

So, does she walk with up to 80% of her pension after only 5 years? If so, it makes the miserliness towards Social Security even more reprehensible.

She sure does!

So, GQP gerrymandering continues apace. [In best Emperor Palpatine voice] Good, good.

Errr, not a full pension, and she can’t start collecting it until she turns 62, but she’s vested after five years of service.

She will have served six years when she retires.

Her pension—available after she turns 62—will be 1% of her salary for each year of service, so she will receive 6% of her base salary ($174,900) annually.
That’s $6894 a year, in addition to her basic Social Security benefits.

She has paid Social Security premiums and a contribution toward her pension out of each paycheck she has received.

The notion of serving in a McCarthy House is stomach-churning.

Still better than a gym jordan House.

It’s not supposed to be a lifetime job. Twelve years in both the Senate and the House should be the limit.

Yeah, baked in when John Roberts said with a straight face that unions would be able to represent similar funding for the Left as business did for the Right, without constructing a method to gauge that, and despite the Scotus doing everything in its power to destroy unions over the last 60 years.

How much does that come out to? btw I think even if it is 80%, she can’t start collecting until much later. age 55 or something like that.
