“Wuhan virus” right off the bat.

ETA: How you can tell someone is more interested in political spin than actual science.

It’s a dog-whistle that this “foreign” thing can’t possibly be Trump’s fault, or even responsibility, in any way.

So odd how it bypasses all of the fat white guys at the top who undoubtedly have type 2 diabetes.

“Now is not the time for recrimination, now is the time to solve this global pandemic and work to take down risks to Americans and people all across the world,” Pompeo said.

Pompeo says that right after he severely criticized China and Iran?? Has he become a comedian??

“Repeatedly referring to the outbreak as ‘the Wuhan virus’ — echoing President Trump calling it ‘the Chinese virus’…”

You don’t need a parabolic microphone to hear the worlds “Filthy Yellow Devils!” loud and clear in that.

The administration is going to take advantage of this crisis to push forward their policies. The “Chinese virus” stuff is right in line with their efforts to hurt China’s economy, it’s power play to get the world to blame China for all of the economic upheaval that is about to happen. They are doing the same thing at the southern border, they just closed it to all immigrants and asylum seekers.

The Trump administration is going to continue to push their abhorrent policies and hurt the groups they have bene hurting, it’s what they do.

Even as the world collapses around us, he’s still auditioning for a party of one. I can’t begin to tell you the depths of my contempt for Pompeo.

This is our nation’s leading diplomat?? God help us all.

Not if the recriminations help solve the pandemic.

Both you and your boss should resign.

This…after Trump got busted trying to buy a vaccine solely for Americans. Yeah, go ahead and tell people all across the world how much you care about them.

Pompeo talking about the ICC.

We will not tolerate an unjust attempt to prosecute Americans.
When our personnel are accused of a crime, they face justice in our country.

Unless it’s a war crime. That calls for a presidential pardon.

Pompeo should give some thought to US leaders who lied about the virus for weeks in an effort to “avoid responsibility” for their “gross incompetence.” He may conclude that they, too, are accomplices who are engaged in a “disinformation campaign.”
