I have no doubt that Joe’s people are setting him up with secure comms links to the people he needs to talk to. Trump doesn’t know how smart, sophisticated, resourceful people operate. I’m not sure what use State will be until it’s rebuilt. But it’s all still ridiculous and disgraceful. This is not how great nations do things.
They may also communicate with US Senator Harris … no way for Trump to obstruct that.
Good thing Joe has solid experience in dealing with foreign leaders. This is getting past amusing and into outright embarrassing territory for people like Pompeo.

The stupidity and ineptness of the Republicans and appointed people in the Administration is mind boggling. It’s a rerun of the “Gang that couldn’t shoot straight”. How immature, and dangerous to this country. Ignore for now, but deal with each of them later by every legal means possible.
Biden Team knew this would happen so they are operating run arounds, bypassing the State Dept and speaking to foreign leaders and former state dept officials to keep the lines of communication open. Yes, they are using non-secure phone lines which means they are very careful about what is being discussed but than again, what lines of communications are really secure.

Anybody who is surprised by this has not been paying attention, Trump is who he is. He is going to go out in a manner that befits him. A petty mean spirited egotistical incompetent loser. Up until 12:01 on Jan 20, 2021 he is the president.
